The Unseen Underground

Atlanta is built on two levels: the shopping and entertainment venues are on the original ground level, while people walk on what’s actually an above ground walkway. Check out a free walking tour of Atlanta’s underground history by one of the city’s premier architects.

Love Hollywood?

It’s common knowledge that Atlanta is the hot place to go when filming new movies and television shows. Take a tour with Atlanta Movie Tours. Check out President Snow’s compound from The Hunger Games, check out where Rick Grimes takes out zombies in The Walking Deadย and much more.

Be a Star

Is your goal to be in the movies instead of watching them? Get a good start by becoming an extra in one of the dozens of films and television shows filming this summer. Most casting departments use Facebook for casting calls. Follow the directions exactly, and be willing to do what the director wants. (If you’re not willing to get dirty or cut your hair, don’t bother) Each casting call will include different requirements. It’s a day of standing around for minimum wage, but at the end of it you can say you’ve been in a movie!256px-Fox_Theater_-_Atlanta,_Georgia
