This season, the Falcons have come out of the gate with a vengeance. So far, they have only wins under their belt and we hope the trend continues. In fact, this year has not only been spectacular for the Falcons, but it has been record breaking for Julio Jones as well.

Go Jones, Go!

Through the first three games of the season, Julio Jones has completed the most receptions of any NFL player in history. This means that he has made the most catches of any player in three games. He has had a staggering 34 receptions to date this season.

This has been great news for Julio Jones and he continues to perform well every week. This has also been a tremendous weapon against opponents this season and is one reason why the Falcons are 3-0.Atlanta-Falcons

Another great statistic from this year is that Jones has gotten, in each of the first three games, more than 135 receiving yards. If leading the NFL in receiving yards and catches was not enough, he also has the most first downs in the league and is No. 2 for touchdowns.

If Jones continues to play as he is, he is on pace to complete 2,347 receiving yards this season. If he accomplishes this, he will break the record currently held by Calvin Johnson with 1,964 yards in a single season in 2012.

On Sunday, September 27, Jones turned up the heat against the Cowboys. He completed a whopping 12 receptions, two touchdowns and 164 receiving yards.

Of course, we cannot predict the future, but we hope Jones will continue playing as he is! Congrats on the great start, and keep it up!
