It’s that time of year again. The time of year when the weather warms up, the days get longer and the Braves are back on the diamond.

This season is even more special than year’s past because when the Braves step out on the field it will mark the 50th season the Braves have suited up to play in Atlanta. The entire year will cause Braves Country to reminisce on the spectacular events and incredible memories the team has given us for the past five decades. As you watch Opening Day you will remember all the ones that came before and remember the feeling that a new season brings you – hope.

Welcome back Braves, we sure have missed you.

Drift 4Opening Day for Major League Baseball on April 6 has us all excited. However, we are most excited for the Braves to make their Atlanta debut on April 10 against the New York Mets. The offseason feels like an eternity.

The Braves took the offseason to prepare for 2015. Management and roster changes dominated the conversation in Atlanta and beyond, but the tough decisions will help the Braves keep pace in a competitive NL East division.

The Braves are consistently a competitive team, and we cannot wait to see what 2015 holds. Although there are skeptics, the Atlanta Braves can easily prove them wrong. Braves fans have seen range from the bullpen, and promise from some of the team’s top hitters. We are all hoping that injuries stay away and confidence stays high entering the first weeks of the season.

The long offseason is over, and the good people of Braves Country can venture to the Ted once again. Get yourself to Turner Field this season, start chopping, and make some good memories! Baseball season is the perfect way to spend time with your families and friends. You can share some laughs over a hot dog or pizza while you teach your kids the rules of the game, or you debate roster changes with your significant other. There is something for everyone at the ball park.

Papa John’s is excited to partner with the Braves for another season. We love the team just as much as everyone in the city and can’t wait to show our support. Of course, we are looking forward to the first BRAVES6 of the season (when the Braves score more than six runs, you get 50 percent off a pizza)! But you do not have to wait until then to eat some delicious pizza while watching America’s Game.

Papa John’s Atlanta wants to invite you to kick off the 2015 season with a tailgate at Turner Field. We will bring our mobile Papa John’s kitchen to the corner of Georgia Ave. and Hank Aaron Dr. where we will give away t-shirts, prizes and more. Come see us between 6:30 and 8:30 for a chance to win a free pizza!
